Alright, the time has come to get back on track. I can’t use having company or Thanksgiving as an excuse anymore. I will only spend a few minutes catching up on reading some blogs and then I will change into my workout clothes. After taking a break from my routine it is always difficult to get in the right frame of mind to exercise again.
Wish me luck getting back into the swing of it again.
I think once you get back into the routine it will become easier. I know last winter I was going strong and then went to DC for a week. My exercise routine after that went totally downhill. Make time for you!
ReplyDeleteYou will do great! I just started weight watchers again. After having the baby and everything, it was easy to put it off another week. But, I decided to do my own Christmas present and enroll again! I worked so hard to lose the weight the first time and can do it again! I am still so impressed with your previous dedication! Keep going strong!
ReplyDeleteI just need to exercise. Good for you and your continued motivation. You've got three 1/2 weeks before Christmas break and all those barriers to running...so go to it!!!
ReplyDeleteI hope that you have been having more success now that Thanksgiving is over. I do know that you probably are having an even busier time with this next holiday coming up. Don't give up, keep plugging away. I have even started walking in the COLD. We have a track near our house and when I have someone to babysit (grandparents are wonderful) I try to force myself to do at least 30 minutes. I know I will have to go inside to the Mall soon, but I am going to try and put me a little higher on the priority board. Keep plugging away! You can do it!
ReplyDeleteKeep at it Colleen.I am impressed with your motivation. This will be a Christmas present to yourself. I am really having trouble getting to the gym - I have been x-c skiing - but I'm not working up the sweat that I would if I were at the gym. Go girl!
