Happy Thanksgiving to all.
I have to admit I have not been doing a good job at running this week. Finding the time to run has been challenging this week with family flying in for the holiday, preparing for meetings at school ( I had 7 Evaluation Team Meetings and Individual Educational Plans to develop) , and other obligations. Hopefully, I will get back on track as the weekend approaches.
Take Care and enjoy your Thanksgiving. I can hardly wait to have my mother’s turkey dressing. It is the best!
We can only fit so much in a day. I hope you enjoyed your family and mom's dressing.
ReplyDeleteWould love to have some of that dressing! I did miss my family meal but we actually had a fantastic meal for the students and then a dance which they really enjoyed. My feet hurt so bad I don't know how they did it...I forget they are young! :) I wish you could have been with me at Macy's...we were almost at a running pace because we were at the front of the parade! They kept pushing us to speed up so we could make our television time. I just wish I had been able to train earlier! Oh well...I survived. Hang in there!
ReplyDeleteTrying to start a exercise program close and during the holidays is really hard! It is very difficult to find the time especially when all the family is involved. I made everyone come and take a walk with me - but I didn't get any running in! Don't worry - we now have a 3 week break before Christmas!!
ReplyDeleteI keep telling myself I will get back on track tomorrow! :)
ReplyDeleteMy mothers dressing is my favorite thing to eat at Thanksgiving too. But my dad's shrimp cocktail is also to die for. This was the first time in years that I didn't stuff myself. It was also the first time I never had dessert. What was I thinking?
ReplyDeleteI feel for you with all your meetings you have. I only have one left until the end of December. Don't you think us Special Ed teachers should get 2 prep periods a day just to be able to get our paper work completed? I know, it will never fly, but I do think it is a good thought.
It is a good thought Amy. I will be up to 19 kids in my pre-school program by the end of the week or early next week. I guess they will keep me moving!
